ObscureGodOfTea finished reading The Gender of Mona Lisa
whoaa coming of age love triangle with a nonbinary protagonist? I'm not sure I've ever seen that before. I didn't realize how much I needed to see that until now and I'm not even that much of a fan of love triangle stories. will post a full review in a moment :>
edit: I wrong a 12 paragraph long review about my feelings about this series but bookcrastinating logged me out somewhere in the middle so I lost it when I hit post. rip me I am NOT writing that again.
in summary it's a nice story that has nice discussions about gender. Asks a lot of good questions but ends up coming the wrong conclusions (people would rather die than choose a gender means make people more comfortable choosing one rather than perhaps address the issue of forcing people to choose a gender in the first place.)
