“Being a sentient spaceship really should be more fun. But after spreading out through space for almost a century, Bob and his clones just can't stay out of trouble. And the Bobs have picked a fight with an older, more powerful species with a large appetite and a short temper. A solid wrap-up to the first arc of this series. It is likely it was only ever intended to be three books so this one ties a bow on the big antagonist introduced in the previous book.
The groove of these books has been well established by now. Multi-threaded stories of space exploration told in first person by various slightly different copies of the same person. Told, I should say with heart and not a little wit. As I have previously noted (and as with any first person telling) you will either enjoy the perspective of the narrator or not, and this will affect your enjoyment of the book.
High quality entertainment has been delivered by this series so it is a recommend from me.
