Review of 'Revolution' on 'Goodreads'

With a title like Revolution, one might expect a grand plan on how to restore the French Republic to its former glory (as the author would see it). Instead we’re treated to a technocratic examination of some of the problems, with vague solutions such as innovation and investment - words that sound great (who would argue against investment?) but are meaningless unless backed up by clear policies and numbers.

Take other leaders like say Thatcher or Blair - you knew what their priorities were and what they stood for (especially Thatcher), whether you agreed with them or not. Having read this though, I don’t know what Macron’s plans were for the presidency and how he hoped to shape the future of France.
