The introduction was interesting, and of course this is a true classic of its era. I don't know how much I enjoyed this for the period as for the science, but I certainly did both.
A whirlwind of a book, this novel starts with pace and never lets the action drop. Clearly inspired by the Count of Monte Cristo, this is a most excellent story, which should appeal to a range of people.
