Review of 'The Nest' on 'Goodreads'

1 star

a jumble of characters that get hap hazardly introduced toward the end of one chapter, and then have the next chapter devoted to them (with a mention of a new character towards the end, with their chapters on their heels, and so on) means it was hard to keep track of who was who. it was also hard because they were all whiny, white, (mostly) privileged new Yorkers. the main characters - brothers and sisters of a wealthy family who are waiting on the release of their inheritance - were the least sympathetic of all and I couldn't care less that the money they were all pinning their hopes and dreams on, disappeared when their reckless and drunk brother almost kills a 20 year old.
