earlier this week, when asked to comment on this book i called it profane. not profound, profane. very, very obviously written by a man. who likes to describe sex. alot. and not in a good way. in a way i'd like to NOT realize is likely the viewpoint of most men.
also hated the very on-the-road ending with absolutely no (loose or other) ends tied up. a porshe, a bag of money, a girl desperate to take his crap, another one (alone & scared) pregnant with his child...
a very man ending with all the posibility open to him. but really it's total bullshit. no matter your options, at some point you take one and live it. there's no pride and bragging rights in listing all you could have been/done.
yup... it was a disappointment.
