This book helped me get out of a slump of being entirely unable to read for about a month. Just one Very short (3-7 pages) story every night. The stories are so unassuming and efficient, but they pack a huge punch and the effect of them builds on each other. I loved this collection.

beautiful little gems. I surprised myself with the amount of gratitude I had for stories that came from so many perspectives: women, men, young, old. it's not that wide a range but that an author, in this age of gated identities, felt the license to do so was incredibly nostalgic. what a beautiful reminder that at the heart of it all, we are all simply humans.
