The translator

After an accident, renowned translator Hanne Schubert loses the ability to speak her native language. Speaking only Japanese, she leaves for Japan where she is forced to reexamine her life, including her estranged relationship with her daughter, after a Japanese novelist accuses her of sabotaging his work.
