This sequel to A.E. van Vogt's 'Slan,' authorized by van Vogt's estate, which can also be read as a stand-alone, continues one of the most famous science fiction novels of the 20th century. Slans, a superior race of mutants are smarter than humans and able to read minds, yet they are persecuted and survivors of genocidal wars who now hide from humans.
