So, you extricate yourself from the marital woes of the Aztec afterlife. Maybe time for some r and r at home in LA? Nope.
That other Aztec god that wanted a favour you couldn't deliver? He's not letting this one go.
This book expands the setting in which the protagonist acts and gives the author a bigger palette to paint on. However, he keeps the story beats tight and the feel of the series the same.
Again, enjoyable and again, recommended.
