The annual Brookmyre. Devoured in one sitting. As per. This was another good one. His consistency is scary, off the top of my head I can only think of 2 or 3 not so good ones in his canon. Which is an outstanding hit rate for someone with more than 20 books to his name. This was quite a dark one and has his new signature trick (since he came back to Parlabane with Dead Girl Walking) that you are not exactly sure who the true villain of the piece is until right at the end. Obviously recommended as I just could not put it down.
