The Piccadilly plot

In 1664 London, Thomas Chaloner is told to investigate missing construction materials from the Earl of Clarendon's new house. Soon, though, he finds connections between this trivial theft and assassination threats, treasonous schemes and the corruption of overseas trading syndicates.
