Adeluna is a soldier. Five years ago, she helped the magic-rich island of Grace Loray overthrow its oppressor, Argrid, a country ruled by religion. But adjusting to postwar life has not been easy. When an Argridian delegate vanishes during peace talks with Grace Loray s new Council, Argrid demands brutal justice.

I got to 60% and decided I have had enough.

The politics of this world make no sense at all to me. The biggest problem is already in the beginning. The Country who lost the war dictates the former colonized island how to lead their country. George Washington would be very disappointed, if England would have still dictated him and the founding fathers how they should build and govern the United States of America.
And already with this premise the whole story is wrong.
And don't get me started on the whole other story on the Mainland...

Maybe it would have made more sense if I finished the book, but honestly my time is too precious to bother.
