This is the one where (almost) everyone has sex. Not really, but that's what it felt like. It wasn't badly done. It worked with the story and wasn't shoehorned in but it definitely felt like someone had decided that everyone had to have sex by the end of the book. A little odd. Definitely influenced by current events, though in the best way. Ghosts and Diviners may be fictional, but the rise of Eugenics, nationalism, "us before them", all of that happened before and it's happening now.
