"Percy Jackson, a modern-day demigod, tells the origin stories of the gods of Olympus and provides an insider's point of view - with plenty of attitude - in this illustrated collection"--
I don't think I'll remember much out of this, but it was a fun read.
Percy Jackson takes you on a journey through the myths of Greek Mythology. Of course he does warn you that some of the myths might be different from the ones you have heard about or read. He even adds his own spin to conversations with lots of humor dashed into them because you know those Gods can be a bit boring.
This book was definitely a nice little addition to the Percy Jackson world. It was also a nice little distraction from the upcoming final book of the Lost Heroes. It was a fun read and there were moments of giggles especially when it came to Percy's version of conversations or how a certain God may have acted. I am quite sure the Gods, once they have gotten their hands on this book, were probably not a bit amused by Percy. At least, I doubt they ever would be.

This book is a nice addition to any collector of the series or if you are trying to get your child into reading, I would recommend this book to them.
