Antonis reads reviewed Piranesi by Susanna Clarke
Multilayered, mysterious & delightful

I'm a big sucker for mysterious spaces and Piranesi delivers in spades. Characters are very interesting too, the story's theme resonates as well.

Something between an extended Borges story and the script of a Myst-like game. Unfortunately, without the puzzle solving and the placidness of the protagonist, it makes for quite light reading.
This book was near perfect?? Like it was written for the exact strange set of tropes and settings Iām most in love with?? Anyway, fanatic book, equals or surpasses Strange & Norrell amazingly, will go on my reread shelf.
