Interesting characters, and certainly a more action-packed and faster-paced work than something similar (such as [b:Captive Universe|710839|Captive Universe|Harry Harrison|http://www.goodreads.com/images/nocover-60x80.jpg|2861555] which explores similar themes, all-be-it with a different slant.
