Wren is a nightmare, a deadly manifestation of the frightening dreams of humans, forever bound to the insidious Reverie king Para Warwick. When she fails to retrieve a weapon that could end Warwick’s reign and is severely punished, she makes a snap decision to aid the growing rebellion in finding it. With the help of another traitorous nightmare, a young human queen who can cross the boundary between the dream and waking worlds, and her liege’s naïve human son, Wren might finally gain the ability to take down Warwick once and for all—and prevent the very fabric of reality from unravelling.
