Just discovered Amanda Briar and this series. Dawn of Hope is the first book in a debut New Adult Fantasy Romance trilogy, for readers who love slow burn romance, found family, a quest, secret identity, and magical systems. It is meant for adult audiences with spice levels increasing throughout the series. I can't find where to purchase the eBooks on her website but the audiobooks are there. https://amandabriar.com/ @romancelandia @bookstodon

ā€œMacLean was Scottish and another thing I intuitively liked was that his heroes were mostly rough-hewed social nobodies formed by World War II and not on the playing fields of Eton like James Bond. I didn’t know much about British class snobbery then, but I sided with outsiders.ā€

12. Shameless self-promotion day. Show us what you're proud of. Let's boost away.

I wrote a romance about a woman with chronic illness moving to a country town where she (eventually) falls in love with a farmer. Contains a depressed and lazy dog needing to be rescued, gossip, vandalism, a harvester fire, a motor vehicle accident and a pub brawl.

Rosie also upsets the Local History Association and finds out the truth about her notorious ancestor Decima.

Based in an imaginary town, Rakali Springs, in the Australian grainbelt (think Wagga Wagga, Cowra). Not spicy. I'm proud of this story.

Hewwo , what's your favourite ? I want to post a round-up in my upcoming April newsletter 🄰
It can be hot or cute, anything goes.
Self-promo is also welcome and of course I'll link to full reviews if you wrote one!

My personal faves are K.C. Bloom's lesbian erotica The Lake House and Stjepan Sejic's BDMS comic Sunstone šŸ”„

Boosts are appreciated šŸ™

šŸ–¤ My novel GODHUNTER will be available in audio starting on April 8th, narrated by Marnye Young. I’m so excited to share this trailer with everyone!

šŸ–¤ If you’re interested, the universal book link in my profile lists some of the marketplaces where you can order it, but I couldn’t get them all up. When in doubt, please try a search! I hope it will be in available libraries too.

The plotline of an 80s, maybe 90s, romance novel just popped into my head — it was used in an excerpt in a romance writing guide.

The couple could not resolve their sexual tension because, after they’d grown close, there arose the plot twist that they might share the same father aka were half-siblings.

So, while waiting to find out, they had the equivalent of phone sex (while sitting opposite each other).

And, ah…

…that’s not any better.
