Hmmm.... further to the profile of Giorgia Meloni which I posted a couple of days ago, I've just noticed that the FT has started to refer to Meloni as 'ultra-conservative', with a former Italian Ambassador to NATO (Stefano Stefanini) referring (with no editorial comment) to the Meloni government as 'centre-right'.
The normalisation of Meloni's far-right views (commented on in the wake of the blog) seems to be moving along at pace.
We are feeling the first chills of Autumn, a little too soon for my liking. At least we have the beauty of the meadow saffron all over our hillside to console us.
