I am often asked how the Minoan deities get along with deities from other pantheons. Pretty well, in most cases. Here I have a corner "inhabited" by the Minoan Snake Goddess, Freyja, and the Virgin of Guadalupe. The amazing big Snake Goddess figurine was crocheted by the ever-talented Opal Luna, who can be found at FiberMagick dot com.

Considering initiation (thanks @Cat_LeFey for your prompt) - I've done various initiations over my life, including ones into the Catholic religion I was raised in, and a group initiation into a druid order I no longer practice with.

But since these were all done under my deadname, as far as I'm concerned, they hold no power over me today.

My witchcraft needs no formal rituals, I have been initiated by the moon and stars on a cold winter night, by the baptism of the salt sea on my face, by the warmth of the sun, and by the one who stands at the crossroads.
