Quite a few thought-provoking tales this time. Kim * From the Largest Crater - Jendayi Brooks-Flemister * A Man Walks Into a Bar; or, In Which More Than Four Decades After My Father's Reluctant Night of Darts on West 54th Street, I Finally Understand What Needs To Be Done - Scott Edelman * Braid Me a Howling Tongue - Maria Dong * In The Deep Woods: The Light Is Different There - Seanan McGuire

These were the stories that grabbed my attention this time: * Sentient Aggressive Urban-Littoral Lifeform - T.H.Dray * Secret Ingredients - Callum McSorley * Oh Baby Teeth Johnny with your Radiant Grin, Let's Unroll on Moonlight and Gin - Cat Hellisen * Targets - Eric Brown * Fat Man in the Bardo - Ken MacLeod * The Microwave Library - David Tam McDonald

These were the stories that stood out for me this time: * Pledge Day - Alex Irvine * Deathmatch - Rich Larson * The Spread of Space and Endless Devastation - Stewart C. Baker * One Day in the Afterlife of Detective Roshni Chaddha - Rati Mehrotra

I really like the following Sci-Fi from this issue: * Beyond the Shore - Tania Fordwalker * The Blindfold - Tobias S. Buckell * Double Occupancy - Ben H. Winters

And the following fantasy: * The Dragon's Hand - Alex Irvine * The Graphology of Hemorrhage - Yoon Ha Lee

I really liked this book. Not as much as the Wayfarers, but there was something quite gentle in reading about the four very different adventures undertaken by these four, deliberately "real people" (to quote wikipedia) characters in quite a fantastical setting. I felt like it ended quite abruptly though, but it was an interesting way to conclude.

Quite a few of the stories caught my attention this time: * Possibly just about a couch - Suzanne Palmer * Down to the root - Lisa Papademetrion * Such is my idea of happiness - David Goodman * Post hacking for the uninitiated - Grace Chan * Rafi - Amal Singh * Timothy: An oral history - Michael Swanwick

And there is a quite interesting essay on gardens in science fiction too.

Well I can see why some have commented that this doesn't really do anything and is a bit inconsistent in how the fictional world works... but you know what - it doesn't really matter. It's just 'nice' and sometimes a bit of 'nice' is all that you need :)

Some great, and some hard-hitting, stories in this one: * Primordial Soup and Salad - Gene Doucette - I really liked this idea. Great stuff. * The Conflagration at the Museum of You - Adam-Troy Castro - this was very quirky! * The Daydreamer by Proxy - Dexter Palmer - another quirky story, but again was fascinating to read. * The Dirty Golden Yellow House - Debbie Urbanski - this was pretty hard hitting, but very well done.
