Avid but slow-ish reader. I'm usually reading one fiction and one non-fiction book at a time. I love fantasy and hard sci-fi, mystery series. Non-fiction reading ranges from business and self-improvement to travel books and golf.

My favorite book to date on D-Day. Beevor provides a great blend of factual information, insight, and sideline stories that help add color. I especially appreciated the ongoing thread of the relationship of free French with the other Allies during the invasion.
Short book with insight perfectly aligned with how I tried to manage the back half of my career. Having honest conversations with employees about the nature of the relationship, avoiding the presumption of lifelong employment, and introducing the concept of "Tours of Duty".
