Got the reading bug from my dad. He read every night. Our house had a room filled with books, a fireplace, and comfy chairs. Once I read my first Hardy Boys mystery, I was hooked. Mysteries are my genre, but I also love historical fiction, biographies, and everything by Erik Larson. There is nothing better than finding a used bookstore; great way to plan a trip. Got turned on to Dorothy Sayers in a used bookstore.

Really good. Laid out a great description of the progression of the fire with personal stories. A lot of things happened that night to make the perfect storm. Despite the level of devastation, you cannot help but have great admiration for the firefighters of the day.
