The Theory of Everything Else has been one of my most anticipated books of the year, and having just finished reading an advance copy I am happy to say that it lived up to my expectations.
The basic premise of the book is straight forward - it's a collection of insane theories and experiments from the what Dan calls the "Rejected Sciences", and it explores a range of topics from Prince Philips fascination with UFOs, to the extinction (and preservation) of pubic lice, to plant sentience and beyond. But what makes TToEE great to me, and what is hard to convey in a short review is the amount of heart shown in the book. This book is a must read for anyone who is a fan of Dans other work, or anybody who has even the slightest interest in the weird.
