Persepolis Rising is a science fiction novel by James S. A. Corey, the pen name of Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck, and the seventh book in their series The Expanse. The title of the novel was announced in September 2016 and the cover was revealed on December 12, 2016.
Normal service is resumed. Megalomaniac decides they know best how to organise humanity, and uses proto molecule to enhance himself and to build spaceships (he set up a colony on a world with orbital ship building facilities). Megalomaniac organises invasion and takeover of Medina Station and Sol system.
Slow start, but gained pace and finished strong
Very capturing read. I just wish it would finish soon. Having to wait another two years is annoying.
Getting into it after one year break was challenging. Some of the old characters helped though.
