Raven Stratagem (Machineries of Empire)

Better worldbuilding and characterisation than the last book; pacing was better too.

This continued the story in fine fashion. I must admit I didn't find it quite as compelling as the first and it may have suffered a little from 'middle book syndrome'. That being said, it was still a great read that I was compelled to finish.
