Some women being empowered does not prove the patriarchy is dead. It proves that some of us are lucky.
This has really put to word a lot of the stuff I've found myself unable to say. Beautifully intersectional; relevant, and reminded me of my own privilege.
Good for:
- Intersectional feminism
- Friendly prose, not too dry
- Introduction to new ideas without being patronising or overly elitist
