The main character is a girl who is said to have a disease that stops her from being able to go anywhere outside her home. She lives with her mother, after her father and brother died in a car crash. She is content until the new neighbors move in..with a boy her age who captures her attention. His name is Olly. And he will most definitely change her life in the craziest way possible.

it mystified me from the get-go that this girl-in-a-bubble had not googled her own condition and that, although written as a 17 yo acts very much like a 14 yo. I assumed, YA book and all, it was for sex - the main character would have sex and the publisher didn't want a sh*t storm. anyhow - the entire plot was unrealistic so I felt cheated to find out that of course: this is a made-up condition and the mother is holding her hostage. SO stupid. but enjoyable to dissect the stupidity. oh, and now it's a movie
