Yeah, I still like this book. Thought I might not, what with the news I learned about the author, but it's still a warm cozy soak of a read.

The world is still pretty racist, and I don't just mean "each country has a single defining characteristic", I mean the Western ones are the Euro ones and the Eastern ones are Chinese or Mongol and The Baddies.

Maybe I just like remembering being 14 and reading this on a school holiday, as I don't think I'm selling the book well.
