Persepolis Rising

Hadn't read the synopsis so the time jump was a real shock. Everyone feels very fragile compared to previous books. As good as the previous six books; you've either read them and know what to expect or you don't and won't start here.

Now that tickled my pickle. The Expanse series continues to deliver high quality entertainment (apart from the dip in Book 4). Abraham and Franks have aged their protagonists well, given them a new antagonist who is more than just a cartoon villain and upped the stakes enough to get you interested without it being too much. Like all space opera there is a degree of handwavium but I am zero you-know-whats given about that. Definite recommend.
