deeply dissatisfying. i enjoyed the lovely bones and lucky, and expect much better from her. but nothing happens that can be properly explained. perhaps the fault lies in having the plot occur within 28 hours - the use of backflashes were still not enough to ground the characters to each other and explain the present tense. everyone comes off as mentality ill.
