This Beautiful Life

i found this plot of a teenage boy forwarding a suggestive email/video for his classmate relevant and current - and i like how the author broke down all the characters motivations and reactions. i even found a few gems in there: like how you can't keep both your butt and your face, and how when you are older, you get too hard and set in your ways to make new friends - i've discovered that on my own too.

so the disappointing part of the book is that i liked it and thought it was a good idea/plot, but i found the writing just meh. i can't put my finger on it exactly, but it felt dumbed down.
