perfectly acceptable pish-posh, but pish-posh all the same.
I loved Eleanor & Park so much; maybe too much. She captured highschool and lust so well. This story is set in college but feels even younger than Eleanor & Park, at least for the protagonist, a Harry Potter-type obsessive who writes gay fan fiction in between her barely described (or lived) college experience. Add a cranky roommate, a way-too-perfect boyfriend, and a crazed twin sister who provides tiny glimpses of (too stereotypical) college life and you get mediocrity.
