Done! Finally. Surprisingly they went out on a high note, civilization resumed and all thanks to the great Rick Grimes.
I noticed a part (about maybe 2 years before the series abrupt end) that it was veering into woke territory when a scouting group meets up with a new loud-mouthed purple-haired character that announces how pleased she is that there is an arab-american, asian-american and african-amercian in the mix to add to her mexican-american presence. She follows up with her pleasure that there are only 2 men and only 2 whites, so it's not just representation she wants, it's also percent of a group. (p.s. there were 2 lesbians in there too, but purple-haired loudmouth couldn't suss that out by appearance) I did worry when rival society The Commonwealth was introduced that it would be based on white supremacy but no, it was just classic elitism.
