Enjoyed, but very far from any of my own experience of course. Still: beautifully penned.

i love this author and now he's made his particular brand of pain and search for identity accessible to young people by putting out this softer version of his work, complete with cartoons/graphics. the main character is a budding cartoonist so it's not a gimmick at all but a real, contributing part of the story.
what impresses me most about sherman alexie is his ability to devaste using simple words and simple sentence structure. a real poet.
