Gulf is an absolutely fabulous story, one I can read time and time again; and if I'm reading with synthetic speech I always, always stop to spell out the card messages, even though I could probably quote them by heart long since. It has that gritty, action feel of [a:Philip k. Dick|4764|Philip K. Dick|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1264613853p2/4764.jpg]'s Paycheck or [a:James P. Hogan|22652|James P. Hogan|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1224033427p2/22652.jpg]'s Assassin and, whilst not a heinlein staple, resonates brilliantly for me.
My second favourite is Lost Legacy, and you can see why, I suppose. The other two stories round out the volume well. Worth reading!
