Thrillfall reviewed The Moving Blade by Michael Pronko
warm towels and fiercly wielded swords
5 stars
The Story itself is unraveling at a slow pace with perfect timing. We are following the protagonists into small and authentic ramen restaurants where they are handed hot towels to clean face and hands with. That is followed by beer afterwards. Don't read this book on an empty stomach. Not because it is gore or anything The dishes in the restaurants are too well described to not get hungry. There are also sword fights and much to learn about sword culture in general.
This book really makes you travel there. Great crime story anyway!
