Full of incredible characters, amazing athletic achievements, cutting-edge science, and, most of all, pure inspiration, Born to Run is an epic adventure that began with one simple question: Why does my foot hurt? Born to Run has got me interested in running again. I've tried to start up running many times since leaving the military, but it never lasted long. At least a few of the reasons for my quitting became very clear while reading this book. A lot of what I had been taught about running in the past always seemed like a mystery to me. It always felt unnatural. I never questioned it, however. I'm glad some people did and very glad it got into print.

Aside from all that, this was a really enjoyable book. Not just insightful, but a great story.
