This was awesome. I wanted to read this since 2016 when a booktuber talked about the book in her videos. I was intrigued by the story of the book. Scribd offers all three audio books. I was super surprised when I started listening and I realized this book heavily influenced the Oremere Chronicles (which were my favorite books of 2019). It was not copied at all, but some of the writing, the plotting had the same vibe. I loved it. I worried that I would get bored following a kid main protagonist, but the book was awesomely well done, both in portraying the kids and letting the story come to life. It actually tells the story of a few more people. I was truly enjoying this and I am hyped for the second book where the Main character is now a grown up.
