Kindle Unlimited gives me mixed feelings. Yes, there is a lot of long tail stuff on there but I feel it may be selling the authors short? Still, 2 free months gives me access to this whole series so may well be worth it to me on that basis alone. I see a few other things on my to-be-read/re-read pile on it so it may well be that I let it run for the £7.99 a month.
This was a palate cleanser for me. Solid entertainment which moved on nicely from the first book. Read on a day when I was a little under the weather and absolutely perfect for that.
This series remains a recommend from me.
