Frank Burns reviewed Impersonations by Walter Jon Williams

Back to my Horatio Hornblower in space entertainment. This is a novella written a good while after the first series ended. Clearly the author had an itch to return to the setting.
This was a fine mystery tale showing the flexibility of the setting. It only uses one of the protagonists of the first series (the more interesting one, in my opinion) and clips along nicely.
This is just decent entertainment, to me. Nothing more needs to be said. Although, fair warning, the Kindle copy I bought had atrocious formatting.
Recommended.
