Frank Burns reviewed Killing Pretty by Richard Kadrey

More Sandman Slim. I really enjoyed this one. It was less about fighting the big bad than about the protagonist growing into himself I felt. As the last book had been very epic in scope, Kadrey wisely decided to go more intimate with this one and change it up a little. There is still a big bad to beat, of course and all the recurring themes of the series are in evidence. All of these books read easily with a nice punk vibe. Recommended.
