Another cracking entry in this series. This is disengage brain and enjoy reading but very well done. Kadrey has toned the apocalyptic tone down a notch in this one, a wise move as it gives him more room to explore the characters and setting. He has a laugh out loud, offhand way of getting rid of major bad's from previous books. This forces re-invention on his part and helps keep things fresh. Recommended.
