Places in the Darkness

It's interesting, though feels very much like someone asked for something as close to the expanse as possible. It's competently written but I miss the voice and spirit of Brookmyre's Earth-bound works.

This was very good. I did feel the absence of the 'Scottish' that I expect from Chris but I can't complain about a compelling whodunnit in a well-realised sci-fi setting. Well rounded characters that occasionally made me giggle with a sense of postivity at the end. I can recommend.

Absolutely enthralling. I loved the way our viewpoint jigged back to show things again but from a different point of view, and the dirty, nasty side of Humanity in space has always held a fascination. This is truly gritty, and delightfully incisive.
