All the Birds in the Sky

I really enjoyed this. The juxtaposition of magic/technology with relatable characters was a very compelling blend. It was obviously a first novel as some things were a little rough around the edges but I would say this was very good indeed.

this started so well. A raven cycle x neil gaiman x sci-fi mixture, weired but awesome. And then it just went downhill after the middle of the book. Stupid hipster plot, superfluous shallow message and all the awesomenss gone.
The writing was still nice, though
