Behold the Eyes of Light

This book just confused me from the start. Nothing is quite explained in a satisfactory manor and I have no idea what species the main character is supposed to be, let alone in what world, universe or cosmos the whole thing is set. On the plus side the humour was amusing at times and there's no denying the descriptive language and character traits shines through well.

There's a sequel - perhaps it'll clear things up. Perhaps I missed something that came before. in any event despite being utterly lost and confused throughout the plot was interesting.
