Was here for the space whales, left for the real bad pacing, lukwarm story and real boring characters. The beginning was not connected to anything in the end. The middle had nothing to do with the characters that were later introduced and there was no character development beside "wow you are more special than others"

I liked the idea of space whales, but that one idea does not make a good book
