I loved this trilogy. The author does a great job of infusing humor into the tiresome romance and fantastic scifi story. My favorite character is still Xemerius. His re-narration of events in the story are hilarious, and I actually laughed aloud several times. As a time travel story, it's pretty easy to pick out early scenes that will be redone from a different point of view later, and this book has some very satisfying circle-backs to the first novel. Gier also foreshadows well enough as to not give away the ending and to give the reader satisfaction in being able to figure things out a bit. The end was both mildly predictable and satisfying. The only thing that I tired of was the constant high-school boy drama, but unlike another teen series, Xemerius was there to get me through it.
