Fine with a lot of good info about IF. A bit obsessive about weight loss, I didn't know the topic would take so much space in the book. Very self help enthusiastic and friendly tone of writing, can be a bit too much.
Dr. Stephens has done a nice job of improving on her first book, Delay, Don't Deny.
Fast. Feast. Repeat. is very similar in tone and narrative, but Dr. Stephens's growing experience with I.F. and in helping others shows through. While it is similar to her first book, it is worth reading. The new information is helpful.

The section about types of foods, particularly ultra-processed foods, was a bit surprising to me because it described my own experience to the letter. Sometimes I really crave Taco Bell or some or other junk food, but it never satisfies me. I've literally eaten enough to make myself feel sick and still didn't feel full and kept searching for food. This is the big reason I try to avoid fast food now. I can eat $20 worth of food and still feel hungry... and a bit sick.
